Student Spotlight-MAEVE-Grade 3

Hello! I’m Eliana Soto and today I have the privilege of interviewing Maeve Lind a fellow 3rd grader who is in Mrs. Small’s Class.  Hi Maeve!

First tell us a little about your West Bradford Journey:

  1. How long have you been at West Bradford elementary school?

I have been at WBE for about 3 years.

  1. What is the best thing about being a charger?

           Helping younger classmates.

  1. What is your favorite West Bradford memory?

          Probably meeting new friends.

Now let’s move on to learn a little more about your dancing.

  1. How long have you been doing Irish Dance?

I’ve been doing it for about 4 years.

  1. How often do you have to practice?

I usually have practice once every week.

  1. What inspired you to begin Irish dancing?

Well, I started doing it because my family is very Irish and I did ballet for a long time.  Then since COVID happened, I               couldn’t do it anymore but I wanted to do a sport. So that was one of the things on the top of my list.

  1. What is your favorite thing about Irish dancing?

Probably in March my dance school goes to nursing homes to dance for elderly people and I love making them smile.

Now let’s learn a little more about you!

  1. How many siblings do you have?

         I have 2 siblings.

  1. What do you want to be when you grow up? And why?

I would like to be a nurse because I love helping people and making people feel better.

Let’s also talk about your favorites:

If you could have any magical power, what would it be and why?

To make everyone be kind to everyone at all times. I feel like in the world, people aren’t always kind to each other.

Well Maeve, it’s been great chatting with you today! Thank you for your time.
